Deborah S. Tropp-Thompson is a founding partner of McNeil Tropp & Braun, LLP. Ms. Tropp has represented numerous insurance and private clients in complex trials and is known for her expertise in insurance defense/civil litigation. Her main practice includes defense of personal injury cases involving auto, trucking, medical malpractice, elder abuse, products liability and premises liability.  Ms. Tropp also represents clients in employment litigation, business litigation, and healthcare law.

 

Ms. Tropp’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Juris Doctor degree from McGeorge University School of Law. Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Tropp received the Order of the Barristers Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy.

  

Jeff Braun

Jeff I. Braun is a founding partner in the Orange County, California office of McNeil Tropp & Braun, LLP and also founded the firm’s Las Vegas, Nevada office. Mr. Braun represents numerous clients in the fields of general liability, products liability, governmental tort claims, business litigation, employment discrimination and professional malpractice. He has extensive experience in the defense of catastrophic accidents and premises liability.

 

As an experienced trial attorney, Mr. Braun has successfully defended his clients in courtrooms throughout California and Nevada. His primary clients include insurance companies and self-insured entities. From 2014 to 2019 he was selected by his peers as a Southern California Super Lawyer becoming one of only five personal injury defense attorneys honored in Orange County. In 2018 he was selected as one of America’s Top 100 Civil Litigators.

 

Tracy Breuer

Tracy L. Breuer has been with McNeil Tropp & Braun, LLP since 2006 and she focuses on general liability, insurance defense and business litigation.

 

Ms. Breuer received her Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law, Salem, Oregon in 2005 and Bachelor of Art magna cum laude from California State University, Bakersfield in 1998 with majors in Psychology and graduating with distinction in Criminal Justice. While attending law school, she was an editor for the Willamette Law Online, “U.S. Supreme Court Service” edition, and served as an active volunteer for several organizations, including the Civil Law Clinic. Ms. Breuer is licensed to practice law in California. She is a member of the State Bar of California and Orange County Bar Association.

Kendall Craver

Kendall L. Craver  is a partner practicing in the Orange County, California and Las Vegas, Nevada offices of McNeil Tropp & Braun, LLP.  Ms. Craver concentrates her practice in the areas of general liability, premises liability and insurance defense. She also has experience in the areas of medical malpractice defense, employment law,  insurance coverage, business transactions and business litigation and  represented clients engaged in the default servicing, banking, mortgage lending and mortgage servicing industries in litigation matters. 

 

Ms. Craver received her Juris Doctor from Whittier College School of Law, Costa Mesa, California in 2009 and Bachelor of Arts from Santa Clara University, California in 2006 with a major in communications. 

 

Nicole C. Barilla

Nicole C. Barilla is an associate practicing in the Orange County, California office of McNeil Tropp & Braun, LLP.  Ms. Barilla’s experience includes both transactional and litigated matters in the areas of insurance defense, general liability, premises liability, public entity law, professional liability, insurance coverage, business contracts and negotiations.

 

Ms. Barilla received her Juris Doctorate from Chapman University School of Law, located in Orange, California in 2006 and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2002.  While in law school, Ms. Barilla served as an editor of the Nexus Law Journal and Magister of the Phi Delta Phi international legal honor society.

 

  

Hala A. Mousa

Hala Mousa is an associate practicing in the Orange County, California office of McNeil Tropp & Braun, LLP. Ms. Mousa concentrates her practice in the areas of general liability, premises liability and insurance defense in both state and federal court. She began her career litigating matters for Plaintiffs in automobile accidents, motorcycle/truck/pedestrian accidents, slip and falls dog bites, and product defects and has a well-rounded knowledge of the law.

 

Ms. Mousa received her Juris Doctor from Western State College of Law, Irvine, California in 2014 and Bachelor of Arts from University of California Los Angeles, California in 2010 with a major in political science.

 

  

Alyssa M. Abrante

Alyssa M. Abrante is an associate practicing in the Orange County, California office of McNeil Tropp & Braun LLP. Ms. Abrante’s prior experience includes matters in the areas of insurance defense, premises liability, and insurance coverage, as well as transactional matters involved with in-house representation.

 

Ms. Abrante received her Juris Doctorate from Whittier College School of Law in 2018 and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, minor in Pre-Legal Studies, from California State University, Los Angeles in 2015. While in law school, Ms. Abrante was an executive editor for the law review and wrote an article that was chosen for publication in the final edition of the Whittier Law Review. She also clerked for two years at an insurance defense firm in Orange County, handling auto accident and wrongful death cases.

Ms. Abrante is licensed to practice law in the State of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.  She hopes to soon become licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada.

 

  

Frank A. Chatzipantsios

Frank A. Chatzipantsios is an associate practicing in the Orange County, California office of McNeil Tropp & Braun LLP.  Mr. Chatzipantsios currently specializes in general liability and insurance defense. His prior experience includes business insurance litigation, insurance coverage and general telecommunications work.

 

Mr. Chatzipantsios received his Juris Doctor from Whittier College School of Law, Costa Mesa, California, in 2015 and Bachelor of Arts from University of California, Irvine in 2009 with a major in Criminology, Law, and Society.  While in law school, Mr. Chatzipantsios earned a certificate in Trial and Appellate Advocacy, and was a competitor in national and international Moot Court.  Mr. Chatzipantsios interned for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.  Mr. Chatzipantsios clerked for the Superior Court of Orange County, as well as, for a law firm specializing in business insurance coverage matters.  

 

Mr. Chatzipantsios is licensed to practice law in California. He is a member of the State Bar of California and the Orange County Bar Association. 

 

  

Laura G. Lopez

Laura G. Lopez is an associate practicing in the Orange County, California office of McNeil Tropp & Braun, LLP. Ms. Lopez’s experience includes litigation in areas of complex civil litigation, estate planning, insurance defense and personal injury.

 

Ms. Lopez received her Juris Doctor from Chapman University, Fowler School of Law in 2017. While in law school, Ms. Lopez was an active Moot Court member and competitor. In addition, Ms. Lopez served on the Honor Council and as President of the International Law Society. Ms. Lopez received her Bachelor of Arts from Loyola Marymount University in 2013 with a major in Business Administration and emphasis in International Business.

 

Ms. Lopez is licensed to practice law in the State of California and admitted to practice law in United States District Court for the Central and Northern Districts of California. Ms. Lopez is a certified mediator. Ms. Lopez is fluent in Spanish and conversational in French and Italian.

 

  

Jayd Banuelos

Jayd Banuelos is an associate practicing in the Orange County, California office of McNeil Tropp & Braun, LLP. Ms. Banuelos' prior experience includes representing clients in the areas of commercial litigation, general contract and business disputes, judgment enforcement, and creditor's rights representation in both state and federal courts in California.

Orzella M. Nabiyar

Orzella M. Nabiyar is an associate of McNeil Tropp & Braun LLP, practicing in the Orange County, California office.  Ms. Nabiyar currently focuses her practice in areas of general liability and insurance defense.  Her prior experience includes transactional work and civil litigation.  Ms. Nabiyar has also served as appointed counsel and guardian ad litem for children in the area of dependency law.

 

Ms. Nabiyar received her Juris Doctor from Whittier College School of Law, Costa Mesa, California, in 2018. While in law school, Ms. Nabiyar was awarded seven CALI awards, which is given to the student with the highest grade in a class. Originally from the Mile High City in colorful Colorado, Ms. Nabiyar received her Bachelor of Arts from Metropolitan State University, Denver, Colorado, in 2012 with a major in Political Science and minor in Dance.

 

Ms. Nabiyar is licensed to practice law in the State of California.

 

  

Ritika Singh

Ritika Singh is an associate practicing in the Orange County, California office of McNeil Tropp & Braun LLP.

 

Ms. Singh received her Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law in 2018 and Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in 2014 with a major in Advertising. Ms. Singh also received a Graduate Certificate in Entertainment Law from University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 2019. Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Singh received the Order of the Barristers Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy.

 

While in law school, Ms. Singh served on the executive board of Moot Court Society as the Executive Justice for Teams and actively participated in external competitions. Ms. Singh was also a junior staff member of the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law. Ms. Singh has interned at several firms, including IMG College, with practice areas of trademark infringement, employment law, medical malpractice, tax law, and business litigation. Ms. Singh is also a published author in the Sports Law Journal and the International and Comparative Law Review.

 

Ms. Singh is licensed to practice law in California and Florida.

 

  

Mike Sarrao

Michael J. Sarrao and the Law Office of Michael J. Sarrao at Irvine, California, is Of Counsel with McNeil Tropp & Braun, LLP.  Mr. Sarrao has over 16 years of experience handling complex business litigation in state courts in Orange, Riverside, Los Angeles, and San Bernardino counties and federal courts throughout California.  He has represented Prime Healthcare Services, one of the largest health systems in the nation, its subsidiaries and affiliates, as general counsel; serving as chief legal officer in the acquisition and financing of multiple hospitals with total consideration in excess of $750 million.

 

His representation extended to handling disputes involving health plans, independent practice groups, insurance companies, regulatory agencies and billing reimbursement.
