Mr. Schenck handles a broad range of civil litigation matters. He has successfully handled cases throughout California in both State and Federal Court. He has also litigated catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases in New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Arizona, Oregon, Nevada and Washington. Mr. Schenck has personally tried, arbitrated or mediated more than 500 cases spanning the full spectrum of tort litigation in matters involving products liability, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, vehicle/truck collisions (including numerous multi-fatality accidents), aviation accidents and disasters, physical assaults, sexual assaults and other general liability cases involving severe injury, paralysis and brain injury, as well as large-loss property casualty claims. He also has significant experience with labor and employment litigation and counseling in both state and federal court in defense of both private sector and public entity employers.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Schenck was a commercial real estate broker with Grubb & Ellis Commercial Real Estate and has extensive experience in real estate acquisitions, financing, development, commercial leasing, and real estate brokerage, and in the formation, financing and operation of business entities and business acquisitions. In terms of litigation experience, Mr. Schenck is often called upon by clients to handle matters that have been previously handled by other law firms, and which have reached a crisis stage shortly before trial. Mr. Schenck’s clients include large insurance carriers, large and closely-held corporations as well as individuals. He also acts as a consultant and expert to insurance companies throughout the state and across the country on issues concerning risk management, risk transference, indemnity rights and additional insured endorsement rights and obligations.

Mr. Schenck received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in May, 1987 where he was a member of the Dean’s List. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern Law School in May, 1998. Mr. Schenck is a member of the California State Bar; United States Supreme Court; United States District Court for Central, Southern and Eastern Districts of California; U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit; the American Bar Association; the Orange County Bar Association; the Los Angeles County Bar Association; the Beverly Hills Bar Association. He is also active in the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Orange County and the Inland Empire.
